Engineering & Certification
Our engineering team covers everything from major repairs to manufacturing of PMA parts. Design engineering including 3D modeling, FAA approved repairs, Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), DER and DAR services, Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) certification.
STC & PMA
Experts you can count on for Parts Manufacturer Approval and Supplemental Type Certificates. Navigating the requirements for an STC or PMA can be daunting. On site technical staff, including Designated Engineering Representatives (DER) and Designated Airworthiness Representatives (DAR) complete the design, testing, engineering, prototype and production needed – more than 28 completed to date. Whether there’s a need to quickly integrate new technologies to existing aircraft or remanufacture difficult-to-source parts, our in-house expertise is unmatched in the industry.

Aircraft Modifications
Flexjet Technical Services specializes in major repairs and alterations for 14 CFR part 43, and support to FAA certified repair stations under 14 CFR Part 145. Aircraft modifications include, but are not limited to, antenna installation design and analysis (including damage tolerance), powerplant changes, electrical systems and analysis, custom cabin interiors and seating along with structural and electrical aircraft repairs. Additionally, we design, develop and integrate comprehensive cabin management solutions that transform the inflight experience.
